Last week I spent time doing the usual emails, CB code reviews and a couple of Skype calls with potential partners. In particular I talked to Metable.co, who are working to create a company that provides metadata services to labels. The general idea is to make it easier for the labels to get their metadata right before it ever leaves the house. The two Toms from Metable are interested in working with MusicBrainz to ensure that the label metadata gets into MusicBrainz straight away -- ideally before it leaves the labels. I find this conversation interesting and have asked them to create a Geordi plugin that will allows them to provide data to us.

I also worked to more our next cooperation with Google forward a little, but progress is slow right now.
