GSoc 2015: Finish implementation of SOLR Search

Hi, I am Vibhav Srivastava, a final year CS student at IIIT-Hyderabad. I would love to work for this organization. I have a good knowledge of Python, Java and Apache SOLR. I have a deep passion for coding and have been programming since a long time. I have worked with lucene, where I developed a search engine for excel data. I had to modify the lucene library according to my needs to provide extended features such as column search. Also, I used a python wrapper on Apache SOLR called sunburnt for adding search feature on a website. I saw the SOLR based search infrastructure project on the idea page of MetaBrainz and I wish to contribute to the same. Hoping for a reply.
