Contribution towards "Social features to Events"

Hey Devs,
My name is Anjali Ujjainia, b.tech. 2nd year student of IIIT-Delhi (India).
I had a look at your project "Adding social features to Events", that I
became keenly interested in. I am experienced in Python and have a decent
level of understanding of Perl, both of which are required for
understanding of musicbrainz. I also have sufficient understanding of
databases which will be helpful for the project.

I have downloaded and replicated the musicbrainz server and database and
have started working on it and going through the codes. I am currently
trying to fix bug #MBS-6438, link to the following is:

I am more than willing to contribute to this project and please tell me if
I am on the right path for project or not.
