MusicBrainz iOS App as GSoC 2015 project

Hey everyone, I'm Antonio Granados, a Software Engineering student in the
University of Malaga, Spain.

I plan to participate in this year Google Summer of Code and after looking
through the available organizations I got interested in this one since I'm
also a music lover and musician wannabe. The thing is, there are a few GSoC
participants that are already interested in the project listed as proposed
ideas in MusicBrainz's GSoC page so I decided to bring my own one.
After researching a little bit I've noticed that there is no MusicBrainz app
for iOS, even though there is an Android one and, since I have some
experience and interest in iOS development, I thought I could do it myself.
I'd appreciate if you let me know your opinion about this project before I
propose it through the GSoC page.
