It won't notify you per se (you'll need to check it), but you can search for some meanings of 'country' (artist countries and label countries, specifically) in the edit search, e.g. https://musicbrainz.org/search/edits?auto_edit_filter=&order=desc&negation=0&combinator=and&conditions.1.field=artist_country&conditions.1.operator=%3D&conditions.1.args=17&field=Please+choose+a+condition (artist country: Bahrain). You could also then filter it by open edits or by edits you've voted on.
