It may not be working this way if you are doing something like changing the capitalization of an artist or something like that. Basically I just compare the filesize in the database with the filesize of the file to determine if it needs to be reimported. As such, changes that don't result in a different number of characters aren't reimported (the filesize stays the same). All the other ways of detecting the changes are just too damned slow (md5 or parsing the tags), but I suppose I could add a 'Thorough' option to use a more aggressive scanning method to reimport.
