This is the first I've seen this. It's pretty nifty -- I think I'll support it as a new type of jukebox mode. This could go a long way toward eliminating the headache many users have had with the Jukebox feature -- this plugin provides the sort of feedback/control that will make implementing it more fun than a hassle. I'll keep you updated, but this will be a b18 feature and as such is going to be a ways off for general consumption. You might have to be brave and run CVS or wait until I hit pre-release stage.
