Oh GOD. Help me with the Install

I have been trying to get NetJuke to install for about six months.   I'm 
an expert at installing this software
package.   I can not get the software to install.  Here is what I have 
and completed.  I give up.

Win98, Win2k, Linux - All the same results.
PHP 4.2.3
Apache 2.0.44
MySql 3.23.52
Latest CVS version of Netjuke (1.0b16)
And 1.0b15, 14, 13.

I get the install screen, go through the options.
It works but the inc-pres.php does not get generated.
I did check the blank page with view source.  Nothing.

I was getting the generated errors with PHP. I upgraded to the cvs version
of netjuke.  It went away.  Now when I completed a fresh install, it does
not build the database like 1.0b15 and the inc-pres.php page is blank.

With Build 1.0b15 it would cause the hard drive to read about 5 minutes 
then have
php barf.

I have installed just about every php mysql thing on sourceforge.  This 
software was
the worst.

I'm asking anyone for help.   Please, could someone help me.   My MP3 
server runs of 802.11b wireless
network on my audio rack.   I can control it with the LCD screen, but 
would like to control it by web enable app.
