iNetCtrl is an XMMS plugin that provides a network interface to control the playlist. It lets you get the contents, change it, move things around, adjust volume, etc. This will allow for a very mature Jukebox option and allow Netjuke to push jukebox to _another_ machine. httpQ is basically the same thing, except it works for WinAmp 2.x. I'll have these working soon and hope to add similar Mac OS X and WinAmp 3 options in the near future. The cover art stuff is going to be pretty interesting -- I've got some ideas about how to integrate the explore view with cover art, lyrics, comments, etc. Just gotta hack it out :) Blake On Thu, 1 May 2003 12:28:32 -0400 Steven Adeff <[email protected]> wrote: > Blake, or anyone really... > > whats inetctrl/httpQ? > > still playing around with the other features, I like the themes though, and I > can't wait till album cover support is mature, the combo should make netjuke > look as awesome as it works. > > > -- > Steven Adeff > AOLIM:"IndieRockSteve" > > Those who can think, do; those who cannot, dress funny. > > "Bodies are for hookers and fat people" - Bender > > You can teach the ignorant, with the stupid there is no hope. > > "You see, eventually your music will help put an end to war > and poverty, it will align the planets and bring them into > universal harmony, allowing meaningful contact with all > forms of life." > -Bill 'n' Teds Excellent Adventure > > > > ------------------------------------------------------- > This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek > Welcome to geek heaven. > http://thinkgeek.com/sf > _______________________________________________ > Netjuke-users mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/netjuke-users
