Howdy! I've found a bug I think. When importing tracks that don't have a genre defined in the ID, netjuke won't display them. It will display the album name or the artist name on the main page, but if you click on either to get the tracks, it won't display the tracks (however if I click on 'play album' it will play the album. After some digging, I found that each of these tracks had a ge_id of '1', which would probably be considered 'N/A', but that genre doesn't show up in my genre listing. I've gone through the actual database and changed the ge_id to match the genre that that track should be in, and it now displays. So the bug exists there somewhere. Just for shits and giggles, I've manually added a genre of 'N/A' with the id of '1' and voila, the tracks display, HOWEVER... my new 'N/A' genre doesn't show up in the genre list. On another note, once I found this and changed the genre on the tracks I was playing with, I decided to 'delete the tracks from NetJuke' and it not only deleted them from netjuke, it deleted them from the filesystem as well :( Jim ----- Original Message ----- From: "Blake Watters" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]>; <[email protected]>; <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, May 12, 2003 12:13 AM Subject: [Netjuke-devel] Re: [Netjuke-users] Netjuke 1.0b18-pre2 Released! > I should have mentioned -- the upgrade utility does NOT need to be run > between pre1 and pre2 -- Netjuke is feature frozen and there are no further > changes that require upgrading.
