I've decided to try and get mplayer to work for server side playback (it supports the em8300 card better than mpg321 does). The command to do this, which works on the command line is: mplayer -really-quiet -ao oss:/dev/em8300_ma-0 -playlist /var/www/html/netjuke/var/data/jukebox/playlist.m3u >/dev/null 2>&1 </dev/null & this runs mplayer, loads the playlist, and throws mplayer into the background. like I said, works fine from the command line. It does not however, work from the netjuke interface. I can't figure out why, either. Is there a way to get netjuke to log any errors? thanks! -- Steven Adeff AOLIM:"IndieRockSteve" ICQ: 2717181 Those who can think, do; those who cannot, dress funny. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Etnus, makers of TotalView, The best thread debugger on the planet.
