Upgrading large library problems

I have to chime in on problems with processing large libraries. I've 
got approximately 80 gigs, 17K songs, and after upgrading, any time I 
try to recursively scan my directories to add new albums, I get just 
the http headers. Sometimes the songs appear to be in the database, 
but the song counts for the artists aren't incremented, so the artist 
names/albums don't show up in any browse views, but I was able to 
manually find them at least once via mysql queries. I'm going to 
down-grade to the last beta for now.
