Well I got a tip about the ntfs properties so I have it linked now and the music server directory is set to var/music/mp3s you can still download but not stream. What should the music directory be set for? Right now he has it set for the absolute path of e:\mp3s. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Elijah Savage Sent: Wednesday, November 26, 2003 7:33 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [Netjuke-users] Hellp with IIS and Netjuke All, I am running netjuke on Freebsd and Apache which works great a friend of mine came over and saw this and wanted to do the same with windows. So last night we embarked on this journey and got everything setup on his server but we could not get streaming to work but downloads work. We really do not care about downloads as his is not available on the net it is only for his personal home use. I know unix to get mine to work I had to make a sym link to my mount point where my mp3's are, how do you accomplish thing same thing in IIS? Netjuke is on his C:\ but his mp3's are on a totally different drive the e:\mp3s 72gig scsi drive. So what should be the path he puts in his music server directory I read the windows install guide but it was nothat helpful at all like the unix guide was for me, plus it does not help I am not a IIS wiz or windows guy. Any help at all to get streaming to work for him would be greatly appreciated. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: SF.net Giveback Program.
