Hello everyone! As Stephane mentioned in his post earlier today, I am taking over as the maintainer of the Netjuke. I bring with me a dedication to the netjuke and a variety of ideas of where to go from here in the project's development. To let you all know a little bit about myself, I have about ten years of development experience and systems administration. I reside in lovely (though currently quite cold) Chapel Hill, North Carolina where I attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and work for a little website called ibiblio.org. I am currently also developing two other open source projects: streamstats (an icecast log processing utility) and iice (a community engine that automates the installation/configuration of other web applications). Aside from computers and programming, I also enjoy literature and (obviously) have quite a love for music. You can find out more about me at my website: http://ibiblio.org/sbw/ As for Netjuke, I've been doing my very best to 'hit the ground running' and maintain as much momentum in the project as possible. I'm currently working to establish a core of additional developers, expand the translations we offer, and extend Netjuke to operate on additional platforms/databases. If you are at all interested in helping out or have any requests/ideas, feel free to drop me a line! I'll be posting some additional information to the development list in the coming days outlining the direction I hope to take Netjuke in the future. For those of you unable or uninterested in the technical details of the development process, sit tight! I hope to have the b17 release of Netjuke out within the next two weeks with some interesting new features :) Thanks for listening and supporting Netjuke! Be ready, there are great things soon to come!
