Hello. If you have a little bit of programming knowladge there should be no problem. I wrote an application once that converts folders and filenames to ID3 tags. Basically you need a directory structure like so and it does the rest: Genre\Artist\Album\00-Artist name - Song title.mp3 Or Genre\Artist\Artist name - song title.mp3 If you wish I can send you the EXE file that does the job. I moved my mp3 collection from a winblows partition to my ext3. Then after installing netjuke I was hoping to find a very nice arrangement for them. Unfortunely, even all track is detected, netjuke can't put it even in a single catagory. If I try to find a song ( by artist name, song name, etc ) it don't succeed. After I checked all my mp3s colletion with mp3info, it said that the mp3 files don't have ID3 1.x tag. Well, I know since it said that the mp3s don't have ID3 tag then netjuke can't catagorize them. Even mp3info can be used to add an ID3 tags, it seems so very impossible job adding ID3 tag to over 1000 song .... :-( I wonder if there's a nice tricky solution ....... cheers, --me-- ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by BEA Weblogic Workshop FREE Java Enterprise J2EE developer tools!
