MD Titling Problems

Hi there

I have a Sony MZR37 recorder walkman and I'm using it to record MP3's off my 
PC. I have it hooked up from the SPDIF of the motherboard sound and then 
into a SPDIF to optical convertor. I've been using MD track generator by 
Juan Antonio Lopez. It works to a degreee but it seems that no matter what 
settings I put into this winamp plugin it doesn't always put the track gaps 
in. I've varied the Sleep time on it from 100 right through to 500ms and the 
Gap time up to 10000ms but doesn't seem to make a diffence. On average it'll 
put 6/12 tracks in.
It's reporting that I have a SB Live! Mixer [E800] even tho the onboard 
Mother Board Audio Chip is referred to as CMI8738 6Ch with SPDIF.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
