That's seems to be a quite good way, i just was wondering
on my HIFI CD player was working, put the cd read tracks, 
(i don't think a table/index of tracks exists) and each tracks 
read time, and show number and timing.
Maybe you need a function that can be called "getNumberOfTracks"
in 
wich you can implement your needs. It's not an essentail
function....
but it's required i think.
