VMWare and NetMD

i'm quite sick and tired of having to keep a Windows machine around to put my cds on minidisc. So I figured I'd give VMWare a try and see if I could use that to use SonicStage.

Can anybody verify that you can use the Sony software through VMWare, before I shell out the dough for it? My host OS is GNU/Linux.
