has anyone seen this? http://www.minidisc.org/manuals/sony/service/sony_MZ-N707_service_ manual.pdf its the full service manual for the mz-n707, dont know where its from, i havnt looked to deeply into it although it looks quite comprehensive and official. i have tried the test mode key sequence and it works, there are many settings which you can change and people have reportedly enabled such things and variable speed playback and pdm, personal disk memory which remembers individual settings for up to 20(?) minidiscs. i havnt done these but you can see more here http://www.minidisct.com/forum/showthread.php?s=& threadid=8766 one thing of particular interest that i just breifly noticed is on page 29 of the manual titled 'rewriting the patch data at replacement of main board or nonvolatile memory'. there are screen shots of what looks to be a windows program for patching or writing to the firmware via the netmd driver and usb cable. i just thaught i would pass this along, i dont think i have seen any mention of this as i have been attempting to keep my self up to date via the archive, thanks very much, i hope that this is found of at least of intrest by some,. thanks.
