To provide us with some basic information, you don't need to know anything
about programming or even about USB.  Just install the USB Snoopy program.
It's not diffiult to use: If you start it, and open the Device manager
window, you can install a sniffer for the device.  I had to play around a
bit until I found the right sequence of driver installation, plugging in the
device and starting the SimpleBurner or OpenMG Jukebox program until I saw
the USB Snoopy program recording the packets and logging them.

When you have made it that far that you can get log files from USB Snoopy,
please insert a minidisc with some files on them, and create a log file
that is produced by just starting Jukebox, listing the minidisc content, and
ending the program.  If you want, do also a simple operation like erasing a
title or renaming it.  Please don't include long file uploads, they tend to
increase the size of the log file dramatically.

Then save the usblog file within the USB Snoopy program and make it
available to us.  If it is not too large (up to a mb), you can send
it to me per mail. Never send anything larger than afew kb's to this list.
If you can upload it to some web site, that would be perfect.

I amin the progress of making a program available that lets you send
commands and see the replies from the device interactively, but it will be
for GNU/Linux and other Unixish systems.
