A lot of things Sony does don't make sense. But I agree: As I said the hardware of the N707 and the N1 is mostly identical, so it is unlikely either one supports it. Maybe the N10, although to my udnerstanding this is just an enhanced N1. It could also be very well that no hardware outside (or even inside) Sony's test labs supports this feature, and it is intended for upcoming models only.
