Hi, I am currently checking out the NetMD.dll functions GetCharacterCode and PutCharacterCode. GetCharacterCode might be used to find out if the player is using the normal or the wchar titles of the disc and the tracks. The syntax is: => 00 18 06 02 20 18 01 00 01 30 00 08 WCHAR ff 00 00 00 00 00 where WCHAR is 00 for normal and 01 for wchar encoding <= 09 18 06 02 20 18 01 00 01 30 00 08 00 10 00 00 08 00 00 00 06 00 08 00 02 80 XX where XX is 01 if the specified character code is used and ff if it isn't. (if the second to last byte is not 80, then the specified character code is not supported, just as in the ff case). Note: this command is wrapped into 00 18 08 18 01 01 00/00 18 08 18 01 00 00 commands. If anybody with a wchar enabled player could check out what these commands return, I would appreciate feedback on this. you should also be able to see these commands at the beginning of an OpenMG Jukebox session if you have a USB logger installed.
