I've been monitoring this list for a few months now, and I must say that document of yours is spectacular! Great work! Regarding the wchar issue, I do have a Japanese MZ-N1 unit... I'll see what I can find out regarding those commands sometime tonight or tomorrow. I do have some usb logs I took, but as I recall, regardless of wether or not the MD recorder supports it, only the Japanese edition of OpenMG actually allows the input of Japanese characters for titles/track names. On top of that, the OpenMG installer autodetects the language of your OS, and installs that country's version accordingly, so I may need to reinstall OpenMG with my default country set to Japan for any usb logs to be useful. As for testing the commands, hopefully I'll have time to try it in linux tonight... David Biedenbach
