They're both there alright, my file-managers are always set to show everything, what ticks ME off is _dialogs_ that don't default to show-all.

The thing is that there's rosegardenmusic folder under .config and it has a rosegarden.conf in it but nothing else. The .local/share/rosegarden folder is there too and all it has is an autosave folder in it. So I created a .local/share/rosegarden/library folder and copied the yoshimi.rgd into it. There is however a /usr/share/rosegarden/library/yoshimi.rgd of the same size (presumably the same file). Alas all this is not where the bug lives. Unlike Dave's case, my bug doesn't clear itself :-(

On Leap-15.3 I can't start Yoshimi AT ALL, but that's another thread to be.

Yeh, they do a lot of things in strange ways but Leap is still my go2 system, that might change though. Sometimes I wonder why distro devs can't just leave everything exactly as the application dev intended and set up, but no-one ever asks me what "I" think :-))
