Off the top of my head, I thought we popped up a dialog on launch (or an attempt to open) that said, "hey, I found an autosave from the last crash. Should I open that?" The user should never dig through the autosave directory. Is this not what is happening? Did you try just loading the file that was open during a crash? Maybe something is broken? Ted.
