You might want to take a look at https://github.com/thanks4opensource/rosegarden-fork. It implements almost all of Feature Request #535, albeit in a slightly different workflow. Also the capabilities of #537 and #536, again with workflows divergent from your proposed designs. I agree that markers are very useful and their implementation in mainstream Rosegarden is limiting. That, among many other reasons, is why I made rosegarden-fork. ;) ;) On 9/1/25 1:04 AM, Lorenzo Sutton wrote: > I've just added 3 feature requests [1], which I've kept separate as they > are quite independent, but essentially aim at improving marker > usability (IMHO of course!). > > I'm not sure how many users actually use markers, but I've been using > them more recently for longer / more complex pieces and do think they > are quite helpful for moving around a piece, quickly locating sections > and also quickly creating / activating 'loop regions' (especially if > #357 gets implemented) :-) _______________________________________________ Rosegarden-user mailing list [email protected] - use the link below to unsubscribe https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/rosegarden-user
