Just uploaded an update to the piano notation tutorial. Please give it a spin: https://www.rosegardenmusic.com/wiki/doc:piano_notation_from_midi Discovered the "Show notation-quantized notes in a different color" preference which makes it really easy to spot voices. I think we should implement a "Split Voices" feature that will automate most of this. I'll open a feature request. You'll want to upgrade to the latest from git since I've fixed a number of bugs identified in the previous version of the tutorial. The tutorial now assumes those bugs are fixed.
