Not sure how helpful this can be as I see the thread is rather active, 
but compiling current git master on CachyOS (Arch based) allows me to 
select and play with LV2 plugins.

Some (hopefully) useful versions information:
cmake:	4.2.1-1.1
LV2:	1.18.10-2.1
lilv:	0.26.2-1
gcc:	15.2.1+r301+gf24307422d1d-2

And finally here I pasted the output of

cmake ..

within the rosegarden ./build directory in its source
