You do realize all of our emails + addresses here are already publically archived and trivially easy to crawl for spammers, right? I guess only the lurkers will have the right to worry... Anyways, I consider the lack of obfuscation in mailing lists a feature; it makes communications more robust against a single point of failure. Everyone can still contact each other if SF shuts down. Fwiw, I also plan on getting public-inbox to support "centralized" mailing lists like this one (where the convention seems to be reply-to-list, rather than reply-to-all). Right now, public-inbox is great for the git.git project: https://public-inbox.org/git/ where reply-to-all is expected. No addresses are obfuscated at all.
