The point is, if you post here asking for help with sox, but muddy the issue by doing thing through pythin (or any other scripting language) no-one trying to help you can be CERTAIN that the problem doesn't lie with your script. If you're asking for help here telling us to read documentation for your scripting language etc is not the way forward.
