My apologies for that little outburst. A drunken idiot (me) took hold
of my keyboard while I was still logged in.
For the record, Dan's comments on SoX issues have always been
perspicacious, precise and helpful,
and that is the only form of interaction I have had with him. Why I
felt persecuted is a bit of a mystery to me,
the rantings of a sick mind or something to do with the rest of the
life I live, I would guess.

Unfortunately, after finalizing 14.6.1 I went out and some young idiot
kicked my legs out from under me
while trying to steal my lighter, I fell on my back and fractured a
vertebra, managed to get home but
wasn't able to move from my bed for three days, then started using
white wine as an anaesthetic but
it got a bit out of hand. I'm OK now, if still in constant pain but
not as bad as before,
and it looks like it will repair properly, but still feel a bit
strange, weak and confused.

No excuse, of course, but to understand can be to forgive,

And yes, I do intend to continue with the releases of sox_ng.
