Thanks for this change, it's a really big improvement for
SoX.  (By the way, we both discussed this topic a long time
ago ;-)

Fortunately, the SoX-plugins have used double from the
beginning, as they are DAW plugins and are naturally
accustomed to completely disregarding the economical use of
resources.

And you don't need to inform me about changes, I'll find out
from your release notes. You have enough to do.
