I have an application I am working on using the speak freely software to stream audio from multiple receiver sites to a central "reflector site". What I want to do is have each remote site compute a signal quality for each packet of audio sent to the reflector and have the reflector only pass on the "best audio". I am looking for an algorithm for computing a signal quality factor that would accurately reflect the readability of vhf radio signals. Does anyone have any ideas? or reference material for voice quality calculations on sampled audio? cheers -- ===================================================================== Lawrence Glaister VE7IT mailto:[email protected] 1462 Madrona Drive http://members.shaw.ca/swstuff Nanoose Bay, B.C. http://members.shaw.ca/cncstuff Canada V9P 9C9 http://gspy.sourceforge.net ===================================================================== ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: Sybase ASE Linux Express Edition - download now for FREE LinuxWorld Reader's Choice Award Winner for best database on Linux. http://ads.osdn.com/?ad_id=5588&alloc_id=12065&op=click
