Make next version usable with Privaria?

Below is a copy of a posting I made to this list back in January. If there's any interest in incorporating the next version of SpeakFreely into Privaria, I'd be happy to assist on my end of things. As indicated below, the only obstacle has been RTP's use of the same UDP port for transmit and receive. A simple command line option could resolve this. Please note that the use of Privaria solves the NAT problem if just one of the peers is behind a NAT firewall. Also note that the Linux/Windows release has slipped a bit...I'm hoping it will be out in a month or so. The current release only runs under Windows, but an upcoming release (due out in a week or so) will run under both Linux and Windows. I would be happy to include a distribution of SpeakFreely in Privaria, permitting users behind an outgoing-only firewall to easily *receive* calls as well as initiate them, if one issue can be resolved. I need to be able to set SpeakFreely (via the command line) to send out UDP packets on a different port from the one on which it receives UDP packets and *not* listen for incoming packets on the port set for sending. The following connection diagram shows how it could be set up: [------- IP #1 ---------] [------- IP #2 --------] SF-A | <-7000-< T-Server ~Net~ T-Client <-7001-< | SF-B | >-7001-> T-Client ~Net~ T-Server >-7000-> | T-Server and T-Client are Zebedee tunnel apps acting as server & client. Privaria already knows how to work the magic of setting up the tunnel client/server pair in each direction for UDP, TCP, or both. But the tunnel apps need to be able to open client and server sockets on the same host as their respective SpeakFreely apps, and they need separate transmit/receive ports to do so. Also, because the Zebedee tunnels provide their own packet-level encryption, there's no need for encryption in the SpeakFreely apps that I would distribute. So, if someone decides to take on this project (should be a fairsimple additional command line option, actually) it would be best to compile SpeakFreely without linking in the redundant encryption stuff.
