I am not a software writer, and therefore probably should not weigh in on
these issues.  I can tell you that in terms of this type of program, I as a
user would vote for "simpler is better".

I asked the question some time ago as what the goal was for the future of
SF.  I had seen it as a wonderful device for speaking over the internet.
That is what I do with it now, quite successfully I might add.  I would hate
to see the program evolve to such an extent that its original intent is
overwhelmed by a plethora of seldom used or inplemented features. KISS
