Well, that would be nice to get some source to make this pre-amp rather a
stand-alone app or build-in into speak-freely.
If you could send me and explain how to combine it with speak-freely it
qould be a great help to me, until the guys from alsa fixed their bugs.
That makes me at least able to use my head-set, which i unfortunately am not
able to combine with my hardware-amp at the moment, and since i need to
write and talk a lot at the same time, this code would be a great help to
me.

ps.: I am not a real programmer, allthough i have experience in configuring
makefiles for some options to be compiled or to be left out.
So be patient with me, as i'll do my best to get things working streight.
