I am using an "C-Media CMI8738" sound-on-board chop on an asus main-board
together with Alsa, and because amplification through mic boost works only
for the monitoring output i am so frustrated.
The mic rec level remains untouched allthough under m$-os it had an effect
on both monitoring and record level.
Any help on solving this sound-issue is appreciated.
Regards, Attila.
