When installing XP there is one option that allows you to activate or 
deactivate a "personal firewall".
Default is cative, but you shopuld disable this feature if you want to 
properly use speakfree !!!!
This feature is made do avoid other hosts sending you unwanted material 
such worms amnd other hoistiole packets.
Of course this blocks even "desired" packets !
(of course: if someone vocally flames you thropught spoeack free do not 
blame it for this)
