Hello everyone. I have installed red hat linux on my system a week ago. I
downloaded the speak freely source code for unix and extracted it to a folder.
Then I ran make. But when I run sfmike and speak into my microphone, the
system hangs and I have to restart. Can anyone suggest how to get around it?
Should I copy sfmike, slaunch, sfspeaker, .. to a folder in the path so that I
can invoke them from anywhere by just typing their name? should I chmod them?
Also, is a GUI available for speak free for linux?
If yes, how do I use it?
Thanking you in advance, Shelley
