I would guess the Server class is failing to initialize for some reason. This would be confirmed if Server.defaultOptionsClass is nil for you. Are you seeing any error messages posted when the interpreter starts up? If so, we will want to investigate that further. If not, we will have to figure out why that variable isn't being initialized, which is a more complicated task.
