Re: VSTPlugin on Linux

Hi Christof,

Very good news about the new version of vstplugin, that will definitely
help.
While experimenting with vstplugin it raises a couple questions, that I
feel I could ask you.
The first one I am pretty sure is not completely related to the plugin but
I am not sure where to look at.
For various reasons, I am not using sclang to control vstplugin but rather
sending OSC messages to scsynth to do the task.
However, when sending messages to VSTPlugin, I am not receiving the
response.
To give you an example, when the plugin is loaded and I send the /getn
message, scsynth receives it correctly but sends back the /vst_setn answer
to sclang (port 57110) and not back to my application.
I am not sure how I could proxy back the responses so that my application
gets the response.

Another minor road block is the fact that I am not able to query the VST
parameters names, only the values.
It looks like it is definitely possible since the names are presente when I
open the VST gui.
