Re: Future of the lists

Hi Scott,

I've been subscribed here for more than 10 years and this list has 
guided me through my newbie years and has made me the reasonably 
competent(-ish) SC coder I am now. Thank you for all the time and effort 
you've put into this over the years!

Regarding the question, I would love it if the list could continue. I 
think I still prefer it over sysynth.org but I also think I could get 
used to the web forum so I would opt for option 1 or 3.

I have a sense that option 2 might run the risk of the gap in the 
archive getting bigger and bigger while the list is becoming more and 
more obsolete. Why not "go out with a blast" instead?

I would prefer option 1 though and would also support it with some money 
if necessary.

Re. archiving: I maintain my own personal Thunderbird archive with 
hundreds of inspiring emails from this list containing "awesome things I 
must play around with sometime". Each one of them would warrant a little 
tutorial post on scsynth.org. I think I'll start doing that next time 
I'm bored.
