Update. I compiled on my home Gentoo system (AMD,IceWM) which uses
stable portage (x86) versus my work (Intel P4,Gnome) which is "bleeding
edge" portage (~x86) and still get the same segfault. First time
installed and ran multiple times without segfaulting. As soon as I
click MyMusic and cancel the introwizard and MyMusic Dialog and exit it
will segfault. Second try usually immediately segfaults and then the
third try on will only segfault when zinf does a mouse over event such
as a button. Changing WatchThisDirTimeout to "0" will do away with the
segfault. If I change it to something like "10" It will segfault in 10
secs with the below portion of strace. The only thing I can think in
common is glibc 2.3.2.
strace:
rt_sigprocmask(SIG_SETMASK, [RTMIN], NULL, 8) = 0
gettimeofday({1060699810, 10506}, NULL) = 0
rt_sigprocmask(SIG_BLOCK, NULL, [RTMIN], 8) = 0
rt_sigprocmask(SIG_UNBLOCK, [RTMIN], [RTMIN], 8) = 0
gettimeofday({1060699810, 10859}, NULL) = 0
nanosleep({0, 999647000}, upeek: ptrace(PTRACE_PEEKUSER,4073,44,0):
Operation not permitted
Any help would be appreciated. Thx.
