Ok. I have committed your changes to GTKPreferenceWindow.cpp and added
the russian translation. Thanks for your work.

btw, can somebody "in the know" give me a potted summary of this Arch
business? Do I need to worry about? Is it where the real stuff is
happening?

AIUI, this is intentional. If you read through po/Makefile, you'll see
that they deliberately don't rebuild zinf.pot unless you ask for it. I
don't think this is strictly necessary as it takes less than a second to
do.

Anyways, just do
cd po
make zinf.pot-update

When you want to make sure it is up to date.
