A bunch of RPMs have just been uploaded.

These RPMs contain a beta release of the forthcoming Zinf 2.2.5. These RPMs
are prepared in order to encourage wide testing of the new Zinf 2.2.5
codebase.

These RPMs are for Fedora Core 1. Zinf requires several third party
libraries which are not included in Fedora; many of them are new
dependencies for the 2.2.5 branch (earlier versions of Zinf did not use
them). Specificaly: alsa-lib (ALSA client libraries); gtkmm; id3lib;
metakit; and xosd. gtkmm also requires the libsigc++ library, which is also
not included in Fedora.

I have prepared RPMs containing those libraries too. They need to be
installed prior to installing Zinf RPMs.

Please note that Zinf also needs the boost libraries. Fedora does have
boost, but it may not be installed by default. You may need to install boost
from the Fedora distribution, if it's not already installed.

If you would like to rebuild these RPMs for other architectures, the source
RPMs are also included. You will need to rebuild all source RPMs of the
dependent libraries, and install the "-devel" RPMs, in order to be able to
rebuild zinf.
