Sorry in that case you are fine, 
under a source install it will go into /usr/local.   
It does appear to a be a problem with the http input. 

I did the following and it working fine.

$ echo  http://acbradio.org:8550 > /home/music/test.m3u
$ zinf /home/music/test.m3u

which is doesn't work for you.  The symbols it is looking
should be there.  Could you check the install dates for
those plugins?
