In case somebody has a clue of what might be happening -------- Forwarded Message -------- From: Catherine Luedecker <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Subject: [Zinf-support] Gtk+ version? Date: Tue, 03 May 2005 17:11:30 -0700 I know that zinf supports gtk+2 but does it specifically support gtk+2.6 and up? The reason I ask is that I am having problems now with zinf that I *think* are being caused by a newer version of gtk. This is the error I get when trying to launch zinf. (<unknown>:10177): Gdk-WARNING **: Attempt to draw a drawable with depth 24 to a drawable with depth 32 (<unknown>:10177): Gdk-WARNING **: Attempt to draw a drawable with depth 24 to a drawable with depth 32 (<unknown>:10177): Gdk-WARNING **: Attempt to draw a drawable with depth 24 to a drawable with depth 32 (<unknown>:10177): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_window_set_back_pixmap: assertion `pixma p == NULL || gdk_drawable_get_depth (window) == gdk_drawable_get_depth (pixmap)' failed The program '<unknown>' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'. (Details: serial 303 error_code 8 request_code 62 minor_code 0) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function. I am using version 2.6.4-r1 of gtk and gdk-pixbuf 0.22.0-r3. My Linux distro is Gentoo. I don't understand what is happening and there doesn't appear to be anything in any of my log files. Thanks for any assistance. Catherine ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: NEC IT Guy Games.
