already there, just not used. asthetic fixes to the volume are low on 
the list of fixes.  The current cvs cant even install yet so you can see 
  where the range priorities are right now.  I have fixes to the 
zinf-volume code that fix the left right issues but that wasn't 
comitted. And as you can see from my todo post, i have future plans for 
volume in zinf that make much more sense than currently implimented.
