Development doesn't have to be frozen at this point. The build changes didn't affect my local win32 branch to any great degree. The grand total of changes I needed to make was to move one line of code outside an #ifdef guard and add one preprocessor definition to the win32 makefile... the bigger changes were just bringing the port up to date with the small class definition changes, the prefs system change, and the move to stdint.h--again, none of them insurmountable, just time-consuming. None of the other changes "broke" win32 at all. Win32 is just about ready to be checked in, at least for testing.
