Re: Download manager no longer needed?

I've never used it but judging from the number of people that 
knew about the rmp -> emp change, I would guess that we have quite
a few emusic users.    

Soo.. in order of effort:

1.  Remove it saving a few K and patch up the themes or modify the
download button to do something useful.

2.  Contact emusic and try to get them to give us there secret formula

3.  Reverse engineer what they actually send on the wire.


I have no reason to want it to be removed, but if it can't be made 
to work then I guess #1 is the way to go..   

I really have no desire to patch the themes to remove the download
button.   Anybody have any ideas of what would be a sensible of use of
the download button?  Maybe open a browser to your favorite music
service (emusic.com, mp3.com, livewire, etc)?  

Is there anybody on the list still in contact with the emusic folks?
